 We started out making better fitting horse rugs - jute stable and waterproof canvas turnouts, fabrics are now much lighter and easier to maintain! A diverse range of rugs are available under the Shires brand and found in stables and tack rooms around the world. 

 But we’re so much more than that. Shires have built expertise in diverse areas, establishing specialist ranges such as Moretta footwear, Aubrion clothing and Karben safety gear, Velociti leatherwork and ARMA horse wear, which have quickly become names to trust.

 We’re continually focussing on our environmental footprint, reducing packaging and swapping to more sustainable solutions wherever practical. Horse riding puts heavy demands on our gear so using the right fabrics that are longer lasting helps with longevity.
